Terms of Service

1. The service

gozetal provides browser-based utilities (for example translation, IP lookup, encoding helpers), optional signed-in quotas, voice/video calling features, and optional compute-key / worker connectivity. Features may change, be rate-limited, or be unavailable without prior notice.

Guest use is allowed for many tools. Signing in (WeChat or Google) may unlock higher quotas or console features. Paid tiers, if offered, are subject to the pricing and limits shown at purchase or in the console.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in methods secure. You must provide accurate information and comply with WeChat / Google terms when using those sign-in providers.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these Terms, or create security risk.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Probe, scan, or attack the service; bypass rate limits, quotas, or authentication.
• Use the service for illegal activity, harassment, spam, malware distribution, or infringement of others’ rights.
• Upload or transmit unlawful, highly sensitive regulated data you are not authorized to process, or content that exploits minors.
• Resell, scrape at scale, or automate the service in a way that degrades availability for others without our written permission.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when interacting with other users in calls or feedback.

4. Your content and tools input

You retain rights to content you submit into tools. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the requested feature (for example routing a translation job to a worker). Unless you enable optional history sync, we aim not to keep full tool payload text as a personal history.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit content and that doing so does not violate law or third-party rights.

5. Calls and realtime features

Call quality depends on networks, browsers, and TURN/relay availability. Do not rely on gozetal calls for emergencies. You must not record or share others’ communications without required consent under applicable law.

6. Compute keys and workers

If you create compute keys or run workers, you are responsible for securing those keys and for code you run. Keys may be revoked if abused. Official installers and protocol docs may ship separately and can change over time.

7. Intellectual property

The gozetal name, site design, and software (excluding your content and third-party components) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse our marks except as allowed by law.

8. Third-party services

Sign-in and some infrastructure depend on third parties (for example Google, WeChat, hosting providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Tool outputs (including translations and IP data) may be inaccurate or incomplete; verify critical results independently.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in the 3 months before the claim or (b) USD 50.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms or the service. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend access for maintenance, abuse, or legal reasons.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence require otherwise. Courts with jurisdiction over our operator’s domicile may hear disputes, without limiting any non-waivable rights you have locally.
