1. What we mean by “cookies”

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use HTML5 local storage and similar mechanisms for preferences and session state. In this Policy, “cookies” includes those similar technologies where relevant.

2. Essential cookies / storage

These are required for basic operation and cannot be switched off from our banner without breaking core features:

• Language preference cookie (for example toolbox_locale).
• Theme preference (light / dark / system) when stored locally.
• Signed-in session token and cached profile in local storage after you log in.
• Security and load-balancing cookies set by our infrastructure if applicable.

3. Analytics & product measurement

If you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner (or previously consented), we may store a pseudonymous visitor id and send first-party product analytics events (page views, tool success/fail signals) to our API to understand usage and reliability.

If you choose “Essential only”, we will not use that visitor analytics path for new page-view tracking. Some strictly necessary operational logs on the server may still occur when you use a feature.

4. Sign-in providers

When you use Google or WeChat sign-in, those providers may set their own cookies on their domains. Their policies apply to that processing.

5. Managing preferences

You can re-open choices by clearing site data for gozetal.com in your browser, which resets the cookie banner, or by contacting [email protected]. Browser settings also let you block cookies globally; blocking essential storage may prevent login or language persistence.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our storage practices change. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest revision.
